About Me

I’m a stay-at-home Mom with lots of big ideas and too many hobbies.  Although the main focus of my time is chasing the boy around, making sure his sister is happy, and keeping the household together,  I have tons of other things to keep me busy.  I’m an artist, crafter, photographer, designer, cook,  and occasionally a musician and writer who loves making things myself for others to enjoy.

All my life I wanted to be an artist, an idea shaped by my late grandmother who taught me how to draw.  As I got older, however, I discovered that I lack the discipline to become really good in any one kind of field.  I have a Bachelors in Fine Art and Graphic Design but I’ve never done just those things.  I’ve been crafting and sewing since I was a little girl because my mother did, I got into photography in high school because my father did, and I started exploring music creation because my brother was a musician.  The cooking came later when I moved out of the house and married my husband – my family still jokes that when I left home the only things I could cook came from a box or was a pot roast.  And I cook a mean pot roast.

I’ve also lost count of how many websites I’ve had over the years.  Originally, I was simply using it for portfolio purposes to find work, but now I just like showing off my stuff.  This blog is intended just for that – I’ve got works scattered all over the internet but I finally have a place to put everything.

I also love to belly dance and play role-playing games with my friends.
