I’ve gone ahead and created and posted the entirety of the prologue of my Sims 2 Legacy starring comic book characters on my website here: http://www.shadowfell.com/sims/. I plan on posting the remainder of the comics one page at a time so I can maximize the procrastination.
However, since I’ve been fiddling with the actual website for two days, that means I don’t have any more comics to post quite yet. I hope the first 21 pages can tide people over until then, as well as the outtakes.
I plan on getting some play time in today. Here’s to hoping. And here’s a title page.
Hooray! Christmas in July is on at Garden of Shadows, and everything that’s been shared so far is magnificent. This was a lot of fun and I look forward to the next one.
Moderra was my Secret Santee, and I gifted her with a Maxis recolor of the Bohemian set from Apartment Life that, in my opinion, was not very Bohemian. Sure, the lines and shapes were good, but the colors were lacking. And no patterns whatsoever. So I fixed it. Introducing…
I picked the color palette from a fabric swatch I found on the internet, and then proceeded to make every pattern used in this collection on ColourLovers.com. If you’re somehow unfamiliar to ColourLovers, I highly recommend it for hours of time wasting. I’m Dark Priestess over there. I searched for some suitably Bohemian-esque patterns that others had made and applied my colors to them. Much fun. So now you can use this collection and make this:
It’s finished! I’ve actually had these done for a couple of weeks – I just needed to get in-game pictures and make my color palette. This will probably be my final set as I will be working on my superhero Hood, New Gothopolis, and the Secret Santa exchange at GoS. I might come back to it later, but four big wallpaper collections is plenty for this project.
I love damask in a dining room. Probably why I made two dining rooms for my screenshots.
A sitting room. And another dining room.
Have fun with it!
iCad’s fabulous floors
Gee, what have I been doing lately? Um…making wallpaper and downloading a billion furniture sets. Yep. But here’s another damask set for you.
Ooh, I made a dining room this time.
Wish my bathroom was that pretty.
And the obligatory bedroom shot.
My first fanmix for Jack Shear’s The World Between is complete!
My husband Andrew has been converting Jack’s stuff into Old School Hack so we can play it, and I’ve been helping out with the mapping part. Since I think most everything needs a soundtrack and Jack’s original material suggested some songs to start with (marked with a *), I decided I wanted to make a soundtrack for each area of the World Between.
Our game group is currently in Harrowfaust, so I started there. Vampires, demons, and gypsies – oh my!
