Knotty the Monkey

Finished just barely in time for Christmas, I present Knotty the Monkey, cousin to Cheeky.  She enjoys playing practical jokes on people, loves to eat mangoes, and thinks that shoe shopping is over-rated.  She’s one of a kind, the life of the party, and always getting into trouble.  Her favorite color is magenta and she hopes to one day be the president of the United States.

Here she is in all her glory.

Knotty was created from a pair of stripey knee socks and some scrap ribbon.  Her face is hand-embroidered, as well as the heart on her butt.  She’s completely sewn and stuffed by hand and with love and is going to my littlest niece, Emma, for Christmas.
